PUBLIC MAP / COMMUNITY REPORTS
Help fill the gaps.
A camera lead appears on the map as soon as it passes the human check and data validation. It is labeled Community reported · unverified so everyone can tell it apart from source-documented records.
Report responsibly
- Submit coordinates for a camera or sensor visible from a public place. Your report and coordinates become public immediately.
- Do not submit a private person’s home, personal information, license plates, device identifiers, or photos of people.
- Do not approach, touch, disable, or interfere with equipment. If you are uncertain what it is, choose “other or unsure.”
- Reports are public statements by their submitters, not independent confirmation by this project. Use a source link if you have one; it is optional for community observations.
The form does not ask for a name or email. Cloudflare Turnstile checks the submission for automated abuse; the server verifies its single-use token. We limit reports to three per network address per UTC day using a keyed hash, not a stored raw address, and block repeat posts for the same camera type, vendor, and coordinates while the report remains public. This reduces spam but cannot guarantee that every submitter is a person or every report is accurate.
How the safeguards work
Community reports publish immediately after input validation and a successful Cloudflare Turnstile server check. Turnstile tokens expire after five minutes and cannot be reused. Each source-documented record remains separate from these reports. Corrections to existing source records stay private for review. The owner console can hide or restore a community report after publication; that action does not delay its initial appearance. More information is in the privacy notice.
